Tuesday was the start of the state's 100 days and nights of summer, meaning more troopers watching for drunken drivers and new commercials about the dangers of DWI.
"All of a sudden, Mama's gone, and for no good reason except somebody just chose to get behind the wheel after drinking,” Gov. Susana Martinez said.
The commercial will air many times this summer. It's the next ad in a series showing those who are affected by DWI, told from of an emergency department surgeon.
